Before you jump to Quick yam noodles with "alfredo" sauce and greens recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about The Simple Ways to Be Healthy.

You already realize that, to achieve true health, your diet needs to be sensible and wholesome and you need to get a good amount of exercise. Sadly, we do not always have the time or the power that this type of lifestyle involves. Going to the gym isn’t something people decide to do when they get off from work. People crave salty and sweet, not veggies (unless they are vegetarians). You should be glad to learn that getting healthy doesn’t always have to be super hard work. If you keep going with it, you’ll get all of the required exercise and healthy food. Here are some of the best methods to be healthy.

Consider the stairs. Rather than riding an elevator, walk up the stairs to the floor you live or work on. Obviously this isn’t as plausible if you work on the 25th floor of a high rise, but if you work on the fourth, climbing the stairs is a great way to get some exercise in. If you do work on a super high floor, why not get off the elevator a few floors earlier and walk the rest of the way? Lots of people opt for the easy elevator ride instead of making an attempt on the stairs. Even if you only have just one flight to climb, climbing down and up it during the day is a great way to get additional exercise.

There are all sorts of things that you can do to get wholesome. Intensive gym visits and narrowly defined diets are not always the solution. You can do tiny things each day to improve upon your health and lose weight. Being smart about the selections you make each day is a start. Getting as much physical exercise as you possibly can is another factor. Don’t forget that health isn’t only about simply how much you weigh. You need to make your body as strong it can be.

We hope you got benefit from reading it, now let’s go back to quick yam noodles with "alfredo" sauce and greens recipe. You can have quick yam noodles with "alfredo" sauce and greens using 10 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to cook Quick yam noodles with "alfredo" sauce and greens:
  1. Provide 1 large yam
  2. Get 1/4 onion, finely choped
  3. Prepare 4 small mushrooms
  4. Provide 1 can garlic, finely diced
  5. Get 4 tbsp milk
  6. You need 4 tbsp whipping cream
  7. Use 2 piece sliced cheese
  8. Prepare 1 handful of green leaves
  9. Provide 1 a little grated salty cheese
  10. You need salt and black pepper
Steps to make Quick yam noodles with "alfredo" sauce and greens:
  1. Peel the yam and cut thin noodle-like strings. If you can julian it - all the better, but you don't have to! This should take you about 15 minutes- I just do it in front of the tv.
  2. Bake the noodles in a toster oven until a crispy with a tiny bit of oil - if you have virgin olive oil - awesome, if not - it's totally okay as well! The noodlrs are really thin, but there are a lot - so it might take a little while to cook. It took me about 10 minutes.
  3. Once you're done cooking the yams and have them on a plate next to you, fry the mushrooms, onion and garlic in a bit of butter (note: if you want the dish to taste a bit more garlicy - add the garlic later on). Don't over cook them- you just want to brase the musrooms a little and coat them with the butter. It shouldn't take longer than 3 minutes.
  4. Add the milk, cream and sliced cheese (I used gauda) to the pan - the sauce will reduce really quickly - but it's totally okay! The key is to do it as quick as you can. In the picture above you can see I wasn't as quick - so it was more of a creamy melted cheese than a sauce, but it's totally great as well. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper - this sauce is supposed to be a poorman's alfredo sauce so it's not supposed to be overly salty. Pore the sauce on the noodles and mix a little.
  5. Time for plating! Add some greens (I just use pre-made salad mix I get in the supermarket - no need to try very hard) above the noodles - as you're the one eating the dish you should decide how much is enough for you. Add some grated salty cheese - I use Iraqi cheese, but feta will work fine as well.
  6. That's it! You're done. You can add some walnuts, pecans, dried cranberries, pomogranate seeds, bacon bits works amazingly well with this, schnitzel strips (take chicken breasts/ a pirce of beef, smash it until it's about 3 sentimeters thin, cut it to strips, dip in an egg and then in panko/regular bread crumbs abd a little salt, fry until golden) and regular chicken breasts can work as well. I'm supet lazy, so I just eat it with scrambled eggs. All in all it's a way to make your loved ones to eat more veggies - without them being veggies!
