- Get 1 yellow onion (sliced)
- You need 5 kaffir lime leaves
- You need 1 lime juice
- Get 3-4 stalks lemongrass (sliced)
- Provide 1 bundle coriander's stem shoot
- Use 8 baby carrots (sliced)
- Take 10 birds eye chilli (sliced)
- Take 5 dried chilli (cut into pieces)
- Get 15 tiger prawn (washed)
- Take 15 pieces chicken (cubed)
- Use 1 tomato
- Take 10 oyster mushroom
- Use Few pieces of coriander leaves
- Take 3 tbs Thai Chilli Paste (Tomyam paste Nyonya brand)
- Provide 1 small ladle of evaporated milk (F&N brand)
- Take 10 tbs fish sauce (Knife brand)
- You need 5 cups water
Instructions to make Tom Yam Goong:
- Bring the water to boil along with onion, coriander stem, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, chilli, dried chilli and carrots.
- When boiling, add the tomyam paste, evaporated milk, and fish sauce. Salt and sugar(if needed) to taste. Add the chicken as well.
- When chicken almost cooked, add the tiger prawns, oyster mushroom,tomato and lime juice.
- Serve hot with Thai fragrant rice.
