- Prepare For the Potato Masala;
- Use 2 tsp Oil
- Prepare 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- Prepare 8-10 Curry Leaves
- Take 1 Green Chilli (chopped)
- Take 2 tsp Garlic Chopped
- Prepare 2 tsp Ginger (chopped)
- You need 1/4 tsp Hing
- Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Prepare 3 cups Potatoes (boiled/mashed)
- Use to taste Salt
- Get 2 tsp Coriander (chopped)
- You need For the batter;
- Take 2 cups Besan
- Get 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Take Salt to taste and Water as required
- Get Other ingredients;
- Prepare 4 slices bread
- You need For making Garlic/Vadapav chutney;
- Provide 3-4 Garlic cloves
- You need 1/4 cup grated dried coconut
- Prepare 1/4 cup chilli powder
- You need Salt to taste salt
- Prepare For making Green Chutney;
- Take 1 cup Mint Leaves (Chopped)
- You need 1/2 cup Coriander leaves
- Take 1 Green chilli (chopped)
- Provide 1/2 Lemon (juiced)
- You need Pinch Black/Regular salt
Instructions to make Inside out Vadapav:
- In a pan, het oil & add the mustard seeds, curry leaves once it's get cooked, add the garlic, ginger & hing, cook for 2 mins
- Now add the turmeric, & potatoes, season with salt & combine the masala with the potatoes
- Before removing, add chopped coriander & mix well
- Take the slice bread & cut off the corners, now cut them into small squares
- On one side of the bread add green chutney & vada pav chutney & top with another piece of bread crating small sandwiches
- Pan fry these sandwiches till golden brown in a pan - Wrap these sandwiches with the potato mixture. - Dip them in besan batter & deep fry in oil
- Fry for 2-3 mins on medium heat till the crust becomes crispy - Cut in halves & serve hot.
