- Use 1 lb ground turkey or beef
- Use 1 cup cheese
- You need 1 dash cheese. I use slighty more than a dash

- You need 8 inch pie pan. I use a ceramic one but you can use metal.
- Provide 1 box of 2 pie crusts-size of the pan you plan to use. I use an 8 inch pie pan.
- Take 1/4 stick melted butter
Instructions to make Mexican Pie:
- spray and flour pie pan
- place one pie crust in baking pan like you are going to make a pie.
- cook ground meat until it is fully cooked and in small pieces.
- once cooked add jar of salsa and stir around
- add cup of cheese and stir around
- place mixture in pan on top of crust #1
- place pie crust #2 on top and press/squeeze crust edges together.
- spread melted butter on top of crust and edges.
- add pinch or a little more of cheese to top of crust.
- cut 6 pie slits into crust
- pre heat oven to 350° if using a metal pan. Cook for 30 min or so. Turn temperature to 425° and cook until crust is golden brown OR if using a ceramic pan then you must put the pan in the oven and heat slowly up to 425° starting with 250° and going up by increments of 50°. Cook until golden brown
