The ingredients needed to prepare Chicken Gravy:
- Take 500 grams chicken
- You need 3 onions (chopped)
- Provide 2 tomato (chopped)
- Get 2 spring curry leaves
- Take 2 tbspn coriander leaves
- Take 1 bay leaf
- Take 1 Cinnamon stick
- Prepare 2 cloves
- You need 1 cardamom
- Provide 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Prepare 2 green chillies (slit)
- Provide 2 tbspn oil
- Provide 200 ml water
- Get For Spice powders:
- Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Take 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- Provide 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Use 1 tsp coriander powder
- You need 1/2 tsp cumin/ jeera powder
Steps to make Chicken Gravy:
- Clean and wash chicken well. Add turmeric powder and let it marinate. Meanwhile keep all ingredients ready.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Next add onions, curry leaves and green chillies. Add salt to fry onions quickly. Saute till golden brown.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappears. Next add spices powders: turmeric, Kashmiri chilli powder.
- Red chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder.
- Saute for few minutes and add tomatoes and cook till mushy.
- Now add the marinated chicken and mix well. Add water and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
- Allow the steam to escape and garnish with coriander leaves.
