- In a pan heat oil, fry the onions. Add in whole red buttons and cumin seeds.
- Add in chopped tomatoes,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, crushed red pepper and cumin powder. Bhuno well.
- Add in boiled chickpeas and potatoes. Add 2 cups water and cook for 25 minutes.
- Add tamarind pulp, dissolves cornflour and mashed potatoes. Mix well and cook till gravy thick.
- In another pan heat 2tbsp ghee add in paprika powder and remove from heat. Pour this ghee on aloo chana masala. Garnish with coriander leaves.
