- Get Ingredients for yakhni :-
- Provide 350 g Beef with bones
- You need 1 Onion medium
- Provide Cinnamon stick 2
- Provide 2 Bari Elaichi
- Take Adrak 2 inch piece
- Provide Garlic cloves 6
- Provide Bay leaves 3
- Take 8 Black pepper corns
- Provide Cloves 5

- You need 1.5 cup Steel cut oats
- Provide 1/2 cup Oil
- Prepare Onion 1 medium
- Get 1/2 cup Yogurt
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Use 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- You need 2 tsp Dhaniya powder
- Provide 1/4 tsp Haldi
- Provide 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- You need 1/4 tsp Chaat masala
- Provide Garnishing :-
- Use 1/4 tsp Chaat masala
- Prepare 1 tbsp Ginger julienne
- Get Podina leaves as required
Instructions to make Oats Haleem:
- Take a big pot and put all the yakhni ingredients together.
- Let the yakhni cook for 2 hours until beef is soft
- Strain the yakhni and set aside the stock
- Now in a pot add oil and fry onions until golden.
- Add beef from yakhni and cook well. Add yogurt to it and mix well for 5 minutes.
- Add all the mentioned spices and oats and fill up yhe pot with strained yakhni
- Let it cook until oats are fully cooked. You can add more water if needed.
- Garnish with podina adrak and chaat masala.
- Serve hot and enjoy either with just a spoon or naanđ
